And the race is on! It's Day Three of NaNoWriMo 2017. So far I've written over four thousand words leaning towards the five thousand mark tonight, hopefully. I do have a bare bones plot to light my way through this mangled wreck of novel writing. Ideas flash up on the way which slows my typing speed down, but I don't mind this as I don't want to suck the fun out of being creative. I aimed for three sprints each day, but added a fourth to hit my 1,667 word target. I'm onto the second chapter - I find the set up and introduction of characters fun so this has been easy. I'm dreading the middle chapter idea slump, but that's a few days off yet.
So far so good. How is your start to NaNoWriMo going?
