Writing Competitions 2019

Writing competitions are a great way to check on how your writing is tracking. Most competitions announce long lists, then a short list before announcing winners. If you end up on one of these lists then something is working in your stories! Sometimes you get feedback from editors or fellow authors. And some will include your stories in anthologies. All offer an opportunity to get your work published and recognised.

Here is a list that has been compiled from various newsletters I receive.
