Do you often feel like you have a story to tell but it seems so trivial? You see, I don't believe a story can be trivial or too childish - it just needs to be told to the right audience in a compelling and illustrative form. And this is where picture books work their magic. Children's books can tackle the joy, trauma, politics, cultures in a "slice of life" style that resonates with everyone - children, teachers, parents.
See, they are not just for children are they?
A Brief History
My love for writing began in the music industry, where I reviewed both albums and live music for Australian music magazines such as FasterLouder, Mess+Noise and BEAT. I swapped the sweaty moshpit for toys and tantrums, turning my pen to writing children’s books. My background in Montessori teaching means I carefully select words that reflect children’s learning levels.
I enjoy bringing chaos and humour to original stories, with current and topical themes.
