Graphic Novel Workshop with author Stef Gemmill Stef Gemmill is an international award-winning author of children's books on issues that matter. Her debut picture book A Home for Luna, a story of homelessness and change, won the International Rubery Book Award in 2020. Stef is currently working on an environmental middle-grade novel about a girl who has a riding accident, and her struggle to get her colt back after it runs off with wild brumbies while learning to ride again with mono vision.
In this two-part workshop, Stef will work with students on a graphic novel idea to capture the key elements of an exciting story. As a group, they will workshop a story seed using visual images, crafting a short graphic novel.
